Out of Network
You may be able to get your insurance company to reimburse you for our work together through their out of network plan. I am happy to help you fill out the paperwork in that case.
If you decide to use insurance I may have to submit a diagnosis to your insurance company even when no psychiatric diagnosis is warranted. Also, insurance companies usually request information about the progress of treatment if you need more sessions. You may prefer to pay out of pocket to avoid submitting personal information if you can afford to do so. You may also be able to receive a tax deduction for your payments. You may have to consult a tax expert to determine if this is true for you. We can discuss the issue of insurance over the phone.
Many people who can afford self-pay choose this method so as to not have to submit personal information to an insurance company.
My out of pocket fee is $125 per fifty-minute hour session and for the first session of up to 90 minutes.
I do offer a sliding scale for those who truly need it.
All payments and co-payments are expected at the time of the visit.
Parking is free and plentiful!
